**EDIT: Made a few changes, added grass infront of her foot as suggested, and dropped the arrow in the title text. Plus, LOL, I can't believe no-one noticed but I had forgotten to add a leather strap for the crossbow! I don't think she had it glued to her back **
Quite good The clouds and mist are incredibly well done!
A couple of things I think could be improved quite easily though, the titletext and the arrow should be brought up just a little so that they're placed a bit above the middle of the black. And you should work a bit more on her shoes/ground, because as it is now it looks as if it's just cut out and pasted onto the ground. Try to get some grass to cover a bit of her shoes or something like that. The last thing is the vampire/bat-creature, I think this actually would have been better without it, you should have just sticked to using bats
By the way, the castle is also very well done!
I really want him there though, as it is sort of a tribute pic to the Van Helsing movie (even if it was kindof cheesy, lol) and these bat creatures were a big part of the movie, -it doesn't have enough Van Helsing feel to me if I leave it out =/ Besides, I like how he turned out and I think the pic would be less interesting with just plain bats. But thanks for the input and the fav
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
